With General Elections in Singapore expected to take place on 3 May 2025, understanding a Member of Parliament (MP)’s track records as well as key Parliamentary debates during the last Parliament term is more important than ever. AskParliamentSG aims to empower Singaporeans to understand key discussions that happened within Parliament during the 2020–2025 term through Generative AI.
This tool enables Singaporeans to directly query complex Parliamentary transcripts and metadata, review MPs’ attendance records and relevant metrics, and explore summarised debates and key thematic areas from the 2020–2025 term. Whether you are an informed voter, a journalist, or simply a curious citizen, this project places the power of Parliamentary transparency directly in your hands.

1. Background
On 15 April 2025, Singapore’s Parliament was dissolved, officially setting the stage for the upcoming General Elections on 3 May 2025.
